
TJ Adams brings to Artistic License over 35 years of graphic art design and photography.
TJ started his graphic art career at Perkin Elmer and went on to do free-lance graphic artwork, as well as photography throughout Europe in the 80's. His artistic abilities lead to a career in custom intarsia and woodwork creations that sold throughout New England at numerous shows.
TJ started vinyl graphics after owning a custom paint business for a number of years. The ability to do custom work, that was easily changeable was a natural progression from his custom automotive paint jobs.
His natural ability is part of his heritage, as his grandmother was a seamstress for several flag companies in MA and she made the first flag left on the moon in 1969. She also created numerous banners for the Bruins, as well as the Chinese Dragon display at the Museum.
Brenda Adams has been sewing her unique creations since she received her first machine at age six. Her grandmother worked in the garment mills in Fall River and for many couture houses until her retirement and was instrumental in teaching her craft to her grandaughter. Brenda began her career in embroidery when she opened her 1st embroidery business in 1992. The business started with one machine in a back room, and within 2 years expanded to a dozen embroidery heads. Screenprinting was added along the way to provide her customers with "one-stop-shopping", with an emphasis on fast turnaround and top quality. Custom digitizing was brought in-house in 2000, followed by A1 Vinyl graphics and sign business when TJ joined the company. The combination of their joint artistic ability has lead to many unique creations on wearables, quilts, boats, vehicles, banners, signs and buildings. Their reputation is based on their exceptional customer service and attention to detail in all that they create.
Their work has shipped all over the world ( Russia, Germany, and New Zealand as well as numerous colleges and businesses throughout the country.
